Approved Industry-based Training

CITC approves industry-based training programs through the Provider of Quality Education (PQE) program.

When the content of a training event is approved, credits are awarded based on the number of training hours involved. A simple rule of thumb is one hour of training equals one approval credit. The current list of providers PDF with approved industry-based training includes many of the best known names in the travel industry.

Completion of Approved Training events may be used to reduce the number of occupational experience hours required for certification by up to 50 hours.
