Learn more, Earn more
CITC offers the following learning opportunities for individuals already working in the travel industry: Specialize! programs, In-House Training, Publications and three forms of seminars: Webinars, Seminars on CD-ROM and seminars that are delivered in a central location, typically in a lecture or workshop format. We also offer training specifically for the Corporate Agency.
This is a computer format of a seminar that can draw participants from across Canada. You can watch the presentation on your monitor, or projected on a screen, and you can listen to the presentation over your computer speakers or on many occasions you have the option of dialing into a toll-free telephone number, to listen to the presentation. A short Question Period is usually included along with downloadable handouts. This is professional development in the comfort of your office/agency.
If you can't attend a seminar or prefer to choose the time and place where you take the training, a great option is to order a tele-seminar that has been placed on a CD-ROM. When you play the CD-ROM, you hear a recording of an actual tele-seminar and see the supporting visuals, presented in either Power Point or PDF formats.
Home-study courses covering Destination Specialist programs, skill development, business tools and Lifestyle Specialist programs. Courses by the U.S-based The Travel Institute may be found in this area, including the SkillMap Assessments.

Investing in these educational opportunities will allow you to:
- Develop a marketing edge and retain or attract new clients
by taking a Destination Specialist or Lifestyle Specialist course
