Do you qualify?
Here are the qualifications you need to join the 3,000 travel professionals
across Canada who are now part of the CITC.
Full Member
- Travel professionals who have earned the CTC or CTM designation
Student Member
- Students enrolled in a travel & tourism program
General Member
Affiliate Member
- Graduates of a travel & tourism program who are seeking
employment in the travel industry or
- Employed full-time in the travel industry and enrolled in
the Certification Program prior to 2008 but have not yet completed the program requirements
or
- Employed full-time or part-time in the travel industry and do not intend to seek certification
Inactive or Retired Member
- Full Members (CTC/CTM) who have left the industry for a period of time for a variety of reasons, including maternity leave, sabbatical, leave of absense, illness or
- Full Members (CTC/CTM) who have retired from full time employment in the industry but prefer to maintain their designation for professional recognition.
Truly Retired Member
- Full Members (CTC/CTM) who have left the industry totally and while they will not be using their designation, they prefer to maintain it as a matter of pride and recognition from a 'retired-from-the-industry" perspective.
