This is an annual Conference for Travel & Tourism
Educators and Industry Trainers from across Canada. |
| WHAT: |
The format of the Conference is seminar and interactive
workshop- based. Sessions are geared toward updating
educators and instructors about the travel industry
as well as providing them with materials to bring back
to their students. There is always a "cracker-barrel"
session that encourages the flow of ideas.
A Supplier Showcase takes place on the afternoon of the first
day of the Conference. Suppliers and publishers who
seek to attract Travel & Tourism Educators and Industry
Trainers are encouraged to take a booth at the Trade

Travel & Tourism Students throughout Ontario,
Student Members of CITC, Open to other industry professionals
who see value in the Conference. The average attendance is 375 Travel Students from all around Ontario plus 25-30 educators.
A Mini-Educators Update is held during the afternoon
of the Conference. |
| WHAT: |
The Conference begins with a morning of seminars,
geared toward areas such as skill development, employment
resumes and interviews, and working in the travel industry.
After lunch (included) a Round-Table features 35-40 industry
speakers, representing every aspect of the profession,
Speakers rotate from table to table. A trade show concludes
the day, with information geared toward students: the
next generation of travel professionals.
