Three levels of membership
 Our
3,000 members include Full
Members , Affiliate Members
and Student Members, all of whom
have met the requirements for each
membership category As of December 2006, CITC's membership consists of:
- 2000 Full members, defined as members who have attained their Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM) designation
- 50 Retired or Inactive members who are taking a leave of absence from active participation in the industry – but wish to retain the use of their designation
- 400 Affiliate members, most of whom are registered for
travel counsellor certification
- 450 Student Members, enrolled in travel
& tourism programs throughout the country
- 23 Honorary Members, who have been recognized by the Institute for their outstanding contribution.
