Certified Travel Professional is a consumer's assurance of competence,
confidence, quality and value of service when it comes to travel. These
professionals have voluntarily fulfilled the educational
qualifications, including the passing of an exam or a series of evaluations,
based on the National Occupational Standards. Their experience and expertise
makes them stand out from the masses selling travel. In this day and age
when it is important to receive the full picture when you travel--including
full cost disclosure, travel documentation, referrals for travel medical
advice, the ins-and-outs of travel insurance and what policy is best for
you--as well as experience and expertise in counselling travellers about
all the options available to them--then there is no need to look further
than a CTC or CTM.
It's easy to find a Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) or Certified Travel
Manager (CTM). Just visit the Locator and type your city and/or province or postal code. If you know
the name of the agency or the name of the agent or the agency you are
trying to locate, you can type that in too. Or if you are looking for
